San Francisco Teacher Residency
In this role I oversaw the recruitment, preparation, and support for hundreds of teachers in high-needs schools in San Francisco. This included leading the operational and instructional aspects of the organization. Under my leadership, our applicant pool doubled, while our teacher diversity and retention rates exceeded those in both San Francisco and across California. I also secured more than $8 million for the SFTR program and participants.

Saint Mary's College, Graduate School of Education
My areas of instructional expertise include: inquiry-based math and science instruction, restorative justice, family engagement, culturally relevant pedagogy, trauma-informed classroom practices, and analysis & critique of education reform initiatives.
Co-Principal & Assistant Principal
Oakland and Alameda Unified School Districts
In these roles, I led a variety of equity-centered initiatives to improve experiences and outcomes for marginalized students, particularly youth of color. These experiences informed the development of the Equity Audit process I'm now available to help other schools implement. For example, I coordinated the redevelopment of a policy that led to a dramatic increase in the number of students of color in honors and Advanced Placement classes, supported the launch of a Black Student Union and an Equity Leadership Team of teachers, and student surveys to inform culturally, policy, and curricular changes.
